2/18/2023 0 Comments Runestone keeper merlynThis involved many sacred and dangerous rites which I have vowed to keep secret. He was keeper of the oral histories and I stayed with him for eighteen months and learned much of the history of the five ages.Īs I was getting ready to leave and return to Varrock, he asked me to undertake the ceremony of brotherhood with him. He claimed to be 354 years old and introduced me to his descendents who were his 12th generation grandchildren. It is important that more historians help to fill in the many gaps, in our knowledge of the various Heroes & Heroines, Kings and Queens and the Great Leaders whose deeds have changed RuneScape and who would otherwise be forgotten. I have dedicated my life to a research and study of the history of our world. ![]() ![]() I believe we should all seriously consider doing as Solus Teppleton asks of us: "I would urge any fellow historians interested in expanding upon this brief history I have produced to spend time with them (the barbarians) and learn their ways, for they are the people we used to be, and the people we might be still if the runestones had not been discovered." Here you can read a brief history of RuneScape by Solus Teppleton, describing the Five Ages of RuneScape. Then click on "Lores and Histories" which will allow you to go to "A Brief History of RuneScape". The History of the Realm of RuneScape is briefly described by Reldo, the librarian of Varrock and by Solus Teppleton in the Histories Index at From the Runescape main page, click on "read stories and letters" this will take you to the Library of Varrock.
